Grieving Through Reading
This in-person group offers a chance to work through grief via books on death and loss, combined with discussions to help attendees find new paths forward. Led by library staff and a hospice volunteer, the sessions include selected readings and a safe space for sharing and healing. The meetings are held at Bangor Public Library's Laurence E. Crofutt Community Room, and are designed for adults seeking an unconventional approach to coping with change.
