Sidewalk Art Festival

Held the first Saturday of October, the Fall Sidewalk Art Festival typically features more than 60 artist vendors spread throughout the Harlow Street area. It also includes performances, live demonstrations, and delightful food trucks. In addition to artists and artesian crafters, each festival features live performances, a variety of food, and activities suitable for families. Whether you’re looking for fine art or fuzzy mittens, you’ll find it in Downtown Bangor at the Fall Sidewalk Art Festival. Additionally, Bangor celebrates the creativity of Bangor’s vibrant arts community during the whole month of ARTober, of which the Festival is an early, joy-filled kickoff. The Downtown Bangor Sidewalk Art Festivals provide a wonderful opportunity to shop for unique items from our jury-selected artists from all across the state while enjoying Downtown Bangor during the gorgeous green of early summer. As the premier arts and culture destination in Central Maine, the Downtown Bangor Partnership seeks to highlight the artists and arts organizations located in the Bangor Region. Visitors are encouraged to stroll the streets of the entire Downtown area to explore its public art, permanent statues and numerous galleries.
